Headhunters PosterThe rich work of Norwegian Jo Nesbo has enthralled readers of his novels across the world, and the big screen adaptation of Headhunters proves equally compelling.

It tells the story of the headhunter of the story’s title,  who’s adept at finding the right person for the right job. But that’s not all he does. To support an extravagant lifestyle, a way too big house and a ‘trophy’ wife he’s also, in his spare time , something of an expert art thief and that proves the catalyst for an involving, well-made, twisty thriller, one with a good number of surprises up its proverbial sleeve.

Headhunters – based on the Jo Nesbo bestselling crime novel – is the best thriller I’ve seen in months. Don’t let its being Norwegian put you off. Like the Danish TV show The Killing, it’s so gripping you won’t mind the subtitles. Chris Tookey, Daily Mail

Jo Nesbø’s novel has been expertly transformed into a cool, brutal, deeply Scandinavian thriller, writes Philip French, Observer
